This is one of the reasons why I am no longer a Christian. Being raised by extremists is bad enough as it is. They pretty much breathe fire and brimstone on a consistent basis and wasn't allowed to wear black or punk because mommy said Goth and Punk is the evils, Never mind that the kids in church were social climbing backstabbers and pretty much treated me like crap while their parents thought I was the spawn of Satan himself for refusing to conform.

If I ever have children, I'll, sadly, will protect them from that content until they acknowledge the difference between fantasy and reality, but only if they are old enough to grasp it.
