I did a Chibi version of these two called Sparkling Scarlet Star in the gallery somewhere, LOL. Now if I can just ever get all these colored!!

Which is gonna take more time what with all my homework and taking care of my mom...plus I've recently develoted a facination with Transformers Animated...who would have thought they'd be harder to draw than Beast wars? Must be all the angles.

That all mighta been my fault with Steel Rose and all. 'Leastways I don't remember seeing much Terryfic before that and certainly none that mentioned art.

( The punchline is that I never wrote him as an artist - he's got the compulsion but he stifles it hard. I write him as art who hates his artist and all other artists by extension. )

At least I can claim canon on the claustrophobia thing.

I feel shame now that I never did any fan art for your fics because they're what got me back into Beast wars after about a three year hiatus. I LOVE Steel Rose. I have it printed out and in a folder with Taratron and Shockbox's fics.

Yeah, I know what you mean, back in the day when the show was still on Fox kids I was pretty much the only one in my group who's favorite character was terrorsaur...leading to the terribly horrid first incarnation of Laserbeak (rolls eyes)I'm so glad I redesigned her.

(laughs) Yeah I know, somehow the artistist thing just evolved but it suits him so well with his pride and ego, just knowing he is the most gorgious Predacon to ever live.

The claustrophia thing is most definately cannon. I picked up on that the second he started laughing insanely while stuck in that crevice in "Victory".

BTW, I read your Beast Warriors as Humans fics and I love them to pieces. You keep everyone so in character while come up with some of the most delightful jokes and in-jokes. My favorite part is Quickstrike being in love with Inferno, or "Ferny" (sniggers)

Well, wheresoever there is Terrorsaur art, there most likely am I. What can I say - the guy's pretty.

Heh, yeah, the trials of liking a not-so-popular character - you don't have to share with others, but there's not as much out there.

The art thing came from a throwaway line in someone else's fic ( I think it was about Mirage, which shows how good my memory is. ) Something about being designed for beauty as well as functionality and it left a little, "Hey, wouldn't it be neat if someone was actually built to be art?" flag in my brain. Terrorsaur always felt to me like a bratty snoot who fell into the gutter rather than starting there ( he thinks he should lead the Predacons on what merits? The guy has two uses: Distract Maximals and salvage Waspinator. Love the character, but he's dumber than bricks. ) Eventually various factors all got mushed around and ended up a backstory.

Okay, and at least part of it is because he's pretty. I am a fangirl, after all.

Pretty much. When I find an author who writes good fics with thrilling plots that are in character I stick with tme like super adhesive (grins)

Because he's pretty, that's why he should lead the Predacons! LOL. Honestly, the bot has no qualifications but I adore him to pieces. I tend to like the odd ones such as Inferno, Quickstrike, Terrorsaur, Scorponok...yeah, I like the bad guys, LOL. I'm trying to draw them more true to form and less bishie but..tempatations arise sometimes..(eyes dart back and forth)And sometimes it's so easy to getr sucked into making a male bot all sexy and idealistic with someone who looks like Terrorsaur..or Animated Prowl.

What, Terrorsaur isn't all sexy and idealistic to begin with? ( Well, depends on your tastes. ) He might as well work it - it's most of what he's got going for him.

I never met a body shape I didn't like, so I'll render Terrorsaur's sleek prettiness with the same happy attention I lavish on Slog's rolls of synth-fat. ^_^ Inferno's one of my favourite characters to draw, though I don't do him much. He's really easy to pose. And one day I need to do up something with Quickstrike. I've never actually managed to draw the guy despite digging the chracter.

LOL, no no, Terrorsaur is gorgious just the way he is (fluffs his ego, like he needs it, right?) It is indeed most of what he's got going for him though except for Waspinator.

I'm still getting humanoid anatomy down (chiuckles) i'm better with animals a lot of the time. Inferno is really easy to pose. Quickstrike's a littlhe doens't have "hands". Always made me feel a certain amount of pity for him.
